BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

This is an option available to all pupils at Egginton Primary School and is provided by Active Bodies Ltd.

Active Bodies is an established company within the childcare sector, maintaining various school-based wrap around care facilities for primary aged children.

"Our main aim is to provide a Before and After-School care service in a safe and welcoming environment where we promote independence and encourage a free flow of choosing whilst supporting a child’s interests. As a company we stress the importance of encouraging activities and being active, however, no child needs to do an activity they do not wish to do, as our staff believe in a child’s choice.

"In our settings and holiday club we encourage an environment in which all children are able to establish new friendships with confidence and build on positive relationships, with their self- identity being formed from socially engaging with friends and peers in a relaxed environment."
