OUTDOOR LEARNING
Learning outside the classroom is the use of places other than the school for teaching and learning.
It is about getting children and young people out and about, providing them with challenging, exciting and different experiences to help them learn. We are fortunate enough to have a farm at the back of our school and pupils regularly get to see cows and sheep from the playground.
We also have access to our own school allotment as well as an outdoor classroom with a story teller’s chair. This allows us to learn about the environment through planting seeds and observing wildlife.
